Your Impact:
Join our dynamic team as a Sales Operations Coordinator, where you'll support local sales efforts, enhance customer satisfaction, and keep operations running smoothly through top-tier service and organizational excellence.
Responsibilities:
-Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing product information, pricing details, and supporting marketing initiatives
-Process customer orders received through phone, email, or messaging platforms, ensuring accuracy in pricing, discounts, and product codes
-Prepare quotations and sales orders, entering them into the sales system with precision; confirm order details with customers and follow up as needed
-Deliver a positive retail experience by assisting customers with wood/product selection and offering general project finishing advice
-Maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing sales floor by replenishing merchandise and supporting display efforts
-Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth coordination of sales, operations, marketing, and delivery logistics
-Support invoicing processes and maintain organized filing systems for sales records
Perform additional sales and administrative tasks as required
Skills & Requirements:
-Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
-Experience in retail sales (an asset)
-Affinity for wood and wood products
-Background in sales support or professional administration
-Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving abilities
-Proven ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships
-Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
-Attentive and effective listening skills
-Clear and professional written communication
-Comfortable performing basic mathematical calculations
-Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
-Demonstrates a high level of integrity and strong work ethic
-Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
-Accurate and efficient data entry skills
