Light to deep brown colour, with occaional purple undertones. Works machines and finishes extremely well. The wood features a beautiful, chatoyant effect, more commonly labeled as figured, curly, rippled or flamed. This is effect is heightened with finish though As with all figured wood, tear out is sometimes an issue so care should be taken when prepping for finishing.
