Tung Oil is a versatile, natural wood finish solution for nearly any woodworking project, from finishing and restoring antique furniture to unfinished hardwood floors and outdoor furniture. As Tung Oil is a drying oil, it penetrates the wood surface and forms a polymerized bond, enhancing and preserving the natural wood color and grain features. Tung oil also provides natural protection against UV exposure, moisture, and everyday wear and tear. Since Tung Oil is considered food-contact safe by the FDA, you may use it on cutting boards and other wooden kitchen tools. Made without any dyes or added dryers, our Pure Tung Oil is truly pure and VOC-Free. Cures to a timeless, beautiful matte finish.
